The Infomir MAG Box series is the gold standard for dedicated IPTV hardware. Because these boxes use a specialized MAC-address-based system, they offer superior zapping speeds and an incredibly intuitive interface. To get started, you will need a premium MAG IPTV subscription.

Important: The MAC Address

Before you begin, look at the bottom of your MAG Box for a sticker. You need the MAC Address (it always starts with 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX). Send this address to us when you order so we can whitelist your device.

Step 1: Accessing System Settings

The Main Screen

Switch on your box and wait for it to load. If it asks for a "Login/Password," it means the Portal URL isn't set yet. Click "Settings" or press the "SET" button on your remote. Navigate to System Settings.

Step 2: Configuring the Portal

Enter Servers & Portals

Inside System Settings, go to Servers and then select Portals. You will see "Portal 1 Name" and "Portal 1 URL".

  1. Portal 1 Name: Type "IPTV Provider Irish".
  2. Portal 1 URL: Carefully type the unique Portal Link sent to your email (e.g., http://mag.example.com:8080/c/).
  3. Press OK to save.

Step 3: NTP Server (Fixing Time & EPG)

Sync Your Clock

If your Irish TV Guide (EPG) isn't showing the right time, go to System Settings > Servers > General. In the NTP Server box, type: pool.ntp.org. Press OK and restart the box.

Step 4: Restart Portal

Go back to the main System Settings screen and select Restart Portal. Your box will show a yellow loading bar. Once finished, your Irish and international channels will appear in a clean, categorized list.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

My MAG box says "Your STB is blocked" — What happened?

This usually means your subscription has expired or the MAC address you gave us has a typo. Check the sticker on the bottom and contact our support immediately.

Can I use Wi-Fi on a MAG Box?

Yes, but for 4K streaming in Ireland, we strongly recommend using an Ethernet cable. If you must use Wi-Fi, ensure your box is a "w" model (like MAG 322w1) or has a compatible USB Wi-Fi adapter.

Why is the loading bar stuck at 50%?

This is almost always a network issue or a typo in the Portal URL. Double-check every dot and slash in the URL settings.
